Advocacy

Cultural Initiative

In the vibrant mosaic of our community, each culture adds its own unique hue, creating a beautiful canvas of diversity. As a student leader, I, Kamla Shaeena Bartolome, am deeply committed to celebrating the richness of our different culture. Through organizing events that bring our diverse traditions and stories to life, I believe we can spark creativity, foster mutual respect, and build a community where everyone feels seen and valued. We will dance to the rhythm of our shared histories, paint the canvas of our future with unity, and build a community where diversity isn't just acknowledged but joyously celebrated.

Character References

Kamla and I have been classmates ever since grade 7, she was one of the first few people I got to befriend when I transferred to our highschool. Though our relationship grew much more as the years went by, I was there to experience it firsthand, her growth and showcase of leadership. I call her “Nay” because she has the strengths of a great leader and the determination of a loving mother. Strong, direct and a voice to the people while being kind, understanding and compassionate to her colleagues. She showcased her quick thinking and adaptability during SEA days, taking on the role of floor director on the spot, running and guiding everyone like a well-built aircraft (haha aero kasi yarn). She has been my lifeline going through our course and has been there for me and comforted me during tough times, a comforting aura much like a great mother would have. Her leadership capabilities shined throughout all the years I’ve been friends with her and it progresses more and more each day. Kamla’s unwavering determination and direct-but-compassionate mindset makes her the ideal person to be our counsilor. I wholeheartedly endorse Kamla and believe she will make an incredible impact on our community. I encourage you to vote for her and support her for a brighter future here at Holy Angel University. You can have faith in my words because just like you, I am a student, a friend and an adopted son of Kamla, our future is bright once Kamla takes flight. Yours truly, Hans.
