Student rights are crucial for ensuring that every individual on campus has access to a fair, supportive, and inclusive environment. These rights protect students' ability to express themselves, participate in decision-making, and access resources without discrimination. As a first-year student running for the student council, advocating for student rights means creating a space where every voice matters, promoting awareness of students' rights, and pushing for policies that uphold equality and respect for all. To advocate effectively, I’ll engage with fellow students, collaborate with faculty, and ensure that any concerns about rights are heard and addressed by the council.

Bakit si carl? Nung una kong nakita si carl alam ko agad na magiging ka-close ko sya, ang gaan sa loob dahil alam kong mabait sya. Yung unang naging interaction namin is sa library, nagrereview kami non dahil may quiz kami sa chemistry and tinuruan nya kami kahit hindi pa kami masyadong close non. Si carl yung tipo ng taong nanjan palagi kapag kailangan mo at susuportahan ka. Nakikita ko sakanya yung dedikasyon nya sa kanyang trabaho bilang isa sa The Pride ng CSC Council, sya pa nga ang pumilit samin para sumali sa float making para sa UDAYS. Hindi pinapabayaan ni carl ang kanyang responsibilidad sa kanyang trabaho at alam kong ginagawa nya ito ng maayos at tama. Kaya nung sinabi nyang hahabol sya sa CSC ay suportado ako sakanya dahil nakikita ko sakanya ang katangian ng isang mabuting leader. Kaya’t bumoto tayo ng matalino, piliin natin ang karapat-dapat. Si carl ang nararapat!
Bakit si Carl? First time ko sya makita sa bridging program nung summer and napansin ko na fast learner sya and mabilis sya mag adapt sa mga tinuturo samin. Nakasama ko din sya sa CSC-SEA and dito ko nakita yung traits nya as a leader—approachable, madaling katrabaho, and he can make the right decisions; As evidenced by how he handled the Banner making event during SEA days and the Float Making competition during Udays.
